I am a Midlife Coach who supports women 40+ redefine what this phase of life actually looks like beyond the old clichés.

A few words about how I can empower you and why I started a coaching practice

The raw and the real. Honestly we all have such big stories by this point of our lives right?! But I’ll save that for later. I think we all have a book in is by now! 😉

The WHYS:

Firstly I was hearing women in my age group accept their age as a limitation and honestly it broke my soul to hear that. Too often I think we stereotype ourselves as we age with societal norms and worst of all our own inner dialogue, beliefs and upbringing. For instance I accepted my mid age weight gain until I did some self discovery and found few different programs to debunk that.

Secondly and I hope you can relate; I felt even though I had friends that were experiencing some peri-menopause and menopause that their issues were different from mine and getting answers was like going through an endless maze of information from my dr to a naturopath to dr google to getting advice from others. But I realize there is no one size fits all. By the end of it I thought wouldn’t it be great if there was a coach or someone I could talk to fast track what I needed just for me.

Thirdly I decided to create exactly what I was looking for; a coaching practice for women that want to challenge themselves on many levels. Whether learning a new skill, navigating midlife changes, menopause, empty nest, healing foods, losing a few pounds etc……..thus Freedom Spirit Women coaching was born but without the labour pains! 😉

About me

I’m 57, live in Ontario Canada with my hubs Glenn. We have 2 boys almost 34 and 30 and 2 grand kiddos ❤️.

I love to experiment with healthy food and definitely enjoy a few indulgences especially with good friends over some special pops and great conversation and a few laughs!

I have my level 3 yoga 🧘‍♀️ certification and working towards my 200 hour YTT but have put that on pause. I love to hike, paddle board, kayak, travel , cottaging where I can unplug and recharge. In 2020 I even got my Motorcycle 🏍 license. 😳

I believe in my soul that it’s important to challenge ourselves with anything that pushes us to the edges of our comfort zone or past it. Theres no growth inside your zone of comfort. Quite frankly I don’t know about you but I’m miserable there and feel so stagnant. Almost like being stuck in a pool of mediocrity. Its like lifting 2 lb weights and wondering why you aren’t growing any muscle; we have to be challenged with a little more weight and resistance to grow and achieve.

Agree? Lets get after it!
